After receiving your answer i tried the trouble shooting steps on the link you provided me, but the problem
persists... i still cannot play Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars anymore. After clicking the game icon, EA Downloader keeps telling me the same error message: "For security reasons,
you are allowed 3 concurently active licenses. This limit has been reached. Please wait until one of the
others licenses auto-expires, then try again."

Hello!
Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts Technical Support. I apologize for the difficulty you're having with
EA Download Manager.
If the issue persists, please send a reply to this email with your updated Dxdiag.txt file so that we can look
into this issue further.
To do this:
· Go to Start -> Run. · In the box, type the following: dxdiag · Click "OK" · Click the "Save All Information" button on the first screen of the application. · Then on top of the "Save As" box that pops up, select Desktop (if it's not set to save there already), then
click Save. · Finally, attach the dxdiag.txt to your email reply.
If you are using Windows Vista:
1. Right click on the menu bar and select Properties. 2. Click on the Start Menu tab. 3. Click on the Customize button. 4. In the upper window scroll down until you see Run command. 5. Click this check box and click Ok. 6. Click Start. 7. Click Run. 8. Type dxdiag in the available text field, and press OK. This will bring up the DirectX Diagnostic tool,
which will give you a comprehensive report of the hardware in your computer.
After we receive this file we can continue troubleshooting the issues at hand and hopefully come to a
solution.

Hello,
Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated. I do apologize for the inconvenience.
I may suggest that we try to manually uninstall the EA download manager and try to reinstall. To manually
uninstall EA Download Manager, you will need to edit your system registry and remove the folders in a two-part
process. This will remove all traces of EA Download Manager from your system.
NOTE: If you remove EA Download Manager, you will lose accessibility and playability to any downloaded games
and manuals. Remember that editing your computer's registry or files incorrectly can severely damage your operating system.
We recommend having a computer professional perform these steps. If you are confident, however, that you can
edit your registry successfully, then please follow the instructions below carefully.
To remove all of the game folders: 1. Open My Computer. 2. Open your hard drive (by default, EA Download Manager is installed on the C drive). 3. Open the ProgramData folder. 4. Open the Electronic Arts folder. 5. Right-click on the EADM folder and choose Delete. 6. A "Confirm Folder Delete " window will appear; choose Yes. 7. (Also in the Program Files folder), go to the InstallShield Installation Information. * (If you cannot find this folder you may have to go to Tools > Folder Settings and click the setting to “SHOW
hidden folders ".) 8. Right-click the {F5577101-33CC-4711-8235-3A95BCD49DB0} and choose Delete. 9. A “Confirm Folder Delete” window will appear; choose Yes. 10. When the folder is deleted, close the window. 11. Right-click your Recycle Bin and choose Empty Recycle Bin.
Now you can remove the registry keys for the game: 1. Click on Start and then click on Run... 2. In the text line type regedit, then click OK. 3. Click on File and then Export... 4. Choose a location and name for the file (this will be your backup registry file). 5. Click Save.
The next steps will all be performed in the left pane of the Registry Editor window: 1. Click on the + next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. 2. Click on the + next to SOFTWARE. 3. Click on the + next to Electronic Arts. 4. Right-click on EA Core folder and choose Delete. 5. Click on the + next to Microsoft. 6. Click on the + next to Windows. 7. Click on the + next to Current Version. 8. Click on the + next to Uninstall. 9. Right-click on {F5577101-33CC-4711-8235-3A95BCD49DB0} and choose Delete. 10. A Confirm Key Delete window will appear, choose Yes.
If you also need to remove the cache associated with EA Download Manager, please do the following: 1. Open My Computer. 2. Double-click the C drive. (By default, this is where the cache folder is created. If you previously
specified a different location for the cache folder, you will need to delete that custom folder.) 3. Double-click the ProgramData folder. 4. Double-click the Electronic Arts folder. 5. Right-click on the EADM and choose Delete. 6. A “Confirm Folder Delete” window will appear; choose Yes.
EA Download Manager has now been completely removed from your system.
I hope this may resolve the issue.

the game.

Hi,
This case has been recently escalated to me in the hopes that I may assist you in a better manner. I
understand that you are having difficulty with C&C 3: Tiberium Wars from EA Download Manager. As much as I
don't want to say this, there is no immediate fix for the situation you are in. Basically what we need to do
is uninstall all instances of that game from any computer - wait 13 days - and on the 14th day redownload then
reinstall the game. We then have to make sure we only install the game on a total of 3 computers at a time.
Let me try to explain what's going on. The error says it all. Somehow someway, there were more than 3 licenses
being used thus this security feature kicks in and prevents you from installing/playing the game any more.
Maybe you had a problem with installation and you had to attempt to install the game a few times. Each attempt
may have generated a new license and when a fourth one was asked the security measure activates itself. This
seems like the most common thing that gets people into this sticky situation. The kicker about this security
feature is that it activates a 13 day timer which cannot be reset or bypassed. The only sure fire way known
way to fix this is to uninstall the game from any and all computers. Wait the allotted time, redownload the
reinstall the game on the 14th day.
I know this isn't good news because it is a major hassle but I can't put it any other way. It simply has to be
done. I hope this helps in some form or manner.
Should you require further assistance, visit support.ea.com or simply reply. Thank You,
xxxxxxx EA Technical Support

Well thank you at least for your answer. It has been several days since i opened this ticket but it seems that
the real problem has been finally revealed. I could argue about the fact that having bought the game would
give the right to reinstall it on my pc every day if i wish to but this wouldn't solve my problem... i'm not
okay whit that but i understand... my final obejctive is still to play the game so i will wait 14 days and try
to redownload the game and re-install it. As i said before, i reformatted my pc a couple of time to try
different OS version so it's impossible for me to "remove" previous installation. I hope this will not be a
problem.
If i don't misunderstand, this ticket will be closed automatically 7 days from last contact (this answer i
suppose). So waiting 14 days will obviously close this ticket. How can i maintain the ticket "on hold" in
order to be able to recontact you or a colleague if after the 14 days the problem remains unresolved? (opening
a new ticket will make me go trought the whole tedious process again, please... no)
thank you for the support

Hello,
Thank you for contacting EASPORTS Technical Support regarding the issue you've been having with getting your
FIFA Manager (Rugby) 08 game activated through the EA Download Manager. In looking at your account, the game
has already been registered so you shouldn't have to go through this process and, in speaking with the EADM
engineering team we have yet to find a solution which immediately will correct this matter. To resolve this,
since the game is not commercially available in North America, we can only offer two solutions presently:
1) We refund you for the purchase and cancel the entitlement;
2) We coordinate with our UK office so that a physical copy of the game be shipped to you.
In either instance, I am certain we can resolve the issue completely in this manner. Please let me know which
way you would like and, if you choose option 2, let me know your mailing address so that I can process this as
quickly as possible.
Thanks for your patience and understanding,

I don't know why you are now talking about "FIFA Manager (Rugby) 08"... The problem i have is with "C&C 3:
Tiberium Wars" (Error: 10000:78008)
At this point, i would choose option 2, have a physical copy of the "C&C 3: Tiberium Wars" game be shipped to
me.
